This small animated toy was developed as a "ride" for a 360-degree trailer for the game Colossal Cave. Less attention was spent on the underside of the model since it would never be viewed.

I employed a bevel + subdivision modifier approach to create the high and medium poly assets, then optimized after the texture pass. Within the UVs, a majority of the model uses either mirrored UVs or duplication for repeating elements.
